Production & quality
The expertise, quality standards and controls behind the products you sell.
Giclée printing uses pigment inks to produce detailed fine-art prints with strong resistance to fading. Paired with suitable fine-art paper, it is a method chosen for artwork intended to be enjoyed over time.
We offer surfaces and finishes for illustration, photography and reproductions of traditional artwork. We are part of a group that also manufactures fine art paper, and we use that paper in our products.
Our team visually checks the printed result against the supplied artwork. A physical sample is the best way to see how your artwork, paper and finish work together.
Light, display conditions and care affect a print’s lifespan. Keep artwork away from direct sunlight and damp conditions.
Ask us about a physical sample or place an order through your approved online account.
Finished frames, protected for packing.
Real-wood Italian mouldings, hand-cut and pinned corners, all assembled in-house. The standard frame includes high-quality acrylic to protect your image and MDF backing complete with ready-to-hang fittings.
We check the frame for damage and obvious defects before dispatch.
Standard finishes are Black, White, Oak and Walnut. Additional coloured frames and approved mounted combinations are available for UK delivery through your online account.
The selected size is your artwork size. Any mount and frame sit around that artwork. The diagram below explains the difference.
The print size is the artwork area. A white mount, when selected, sits around it; the frame surrounds the print or mount. Check the approved combination in the configurator for the frame size.
We print your artwork onto 240gsm polyester canvas and stretch it over 20mm-deep pine bars. The canvas surface brings texture to the image, while the stretcher gives the finished piece its shape and depth.
Choose mirrored edges to carry a reflection of the artwork around the sides, or white edges for a clean, neutral finish. Supply your normal artwork; we add the wrap in production so you do not need to build it into your file.
Add a tray frame in Black, White, Oak or Walnut to give the stretched canvas a defined border. Its 32mm depth and 10mm front face surround the canvas without a paper mount or acrylic glazing.
