Frequently asked questions
Answers about accounts, products, artwork and delivery.
Accounts and ordering
Who is PrintPost for?
We work with businesses selling wall art and greeting cards, including artists, independent stores, online sellers and retailers.
Can I see product information before signing in?
Yes. Product specifications and artwork guidance are available on the site. Sign in to your business account to see your ordering prices.
How do I create an ordering account?
Apply with your contact and business details, business country and store URL. We review new applications and confirm when your ordering access is ready. Existing approved customers can sign in to order.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
There is no minimum order quantity for online ordering.
Can I try PrintPost before arranging an integration?
Yes. The ordering portal suits businesses of any size, including larger accounts testing the service. There is no minimum order quantity. Integration is available from 50 orders a month.
Do I need an account to discuss an integration?
No. Businesses sending 50 or more orders a month can use the integration enquiry form. Below that volume, the ordering portal has no minimum order quantity and is a useful place to begin.
How do integrations work?
Our team works with you on the connection, product mapping and approved artwork. Once configured, eligible standard orders can flow automatically. Custom or personalised jobs may need additional intervention.
Products and quality
What products can you produce?
For UK delivery, order unframed and framed prints across six papers, mounted framed prints, coloured frames, stretched and framed canvas, and frame-only products. For EU and US delivery, order standard matte unframed and framed prints in standard frame finishes. Rolled canvas and greeting cards are available by enquiry.
Why does PrintPost focus on wall art?
Our expertise is in printing, canvas, framing and fulfilment. A focused range lets us concentrate on materials, production and finishing. We also produce greeting cards.
Does the selected size include the frame?
No. For every product, size refers to the print or artwork. Any mount and frame sit outside it. Frame-only sizes refer to the print size the frame fits.
Do frame-only orders need artwork?
No. Frame-only products contain no printed artwork. They include acrylic glazing, MDF backing and hanging fittings, with no mount.
Are the products consistent across locations?
Products offered in multiple locations follow the same specification. The available range can differ: some papers and mounts are offered only in particular locations.
Is PrintPost ISO 9001:2015 certified?
PrintPost’s main UK facility is certified to ISO 9001:2015 for its quality management system.
Can I arrange samples or visit?
Contact our team to discuss a physical sample or arrange a visit to our UK headquarters. We review sample requests and confirm the appropriate option.
Artwork and files
What artwork formats can I upload?
The online portal accepts JPEG, PNG and PDF, up to 200MB per file. Attach the correct original to each printed item. Multipage PDFs are not automatically split into separate prints.
What resolution should I use?
Use RGB artwork and aim for 150–300 DPI at the selected print size. The portal’s resolution and proportion warnings are advisory. PDFs do not receive a single DPI result. Read the artwork guide.
Does the preview change my artwork?
No. The preview is separate from your production original. Include any intentional border in your artwork and check the proportions of the selected product.
Do I need to add a wrap to my canvas file?
No. Supply your normal artwork file. We add mirrored or white edges in production. Read the artwork guidance.
Who can access files in connected production?
For connected production, approved artwork is held in encrypted storage. Day-to-day production staff can print files but cannot download, edit or delete them. Authorised administrators retain access when needed. Portal uploads use a separate upload workflow.
Production and delivery
Where do you produce orders?
Our production network includes the UK, the Netherlands and the United States. Online ordering is available for UK, EU and US delivery. Standard matte unframed and framed prints are available in all three regions; additional products and paper options are UK-only.
How long does production take?
Unframed paper prints usually take 1–3 working days before dispatch; framed prints usually take 3–5. Production starts when the order and artwork are ready. Delivery time is additional. Ask us about timing for canvas, frames and greeting cards.
Is delivery tracked?
Every dispatched order is tracked. Connected sales channels receive tracking automatically; portal customers can follow their order through their account.
Do you offer white-label fulfilment?
Yes. Neutral packaging is standard. You can supply flyers, labels or inserts for inclusion without an extra service charge; agree the materials and instructions with us in advance.
What should I do if an order is damaged or missing?
Contact our team with the order reference and what happened. Keep photographs of any damage and packaging. Read the cancellation, damage and returns policy for the full process.
