Artwork guidelines
Prepare one original artwork file for each print job, then review your selected format and upload before adding it to your order.
- File formats
- JPEG · PNG · PDF
- Colour
- RGB
- Maximum file size
- 200 MB
Prepare the original artwork for your chosen print size.
File formats and size
Upload JPEG, PNG or PDF, up to 200 MB per file. Keep your own copy of the original artwork.
Size and proportions
For every product, selected size means the print or artwork size, not the outer frame dimensions. Match your artwork proportions to that size and check the preview. Any mount and frame are added around it. The ordering interface does not crop or rewrite your original file.
Artwork for canvas
Supply your normal artwork at the selected print size. PrintPost adds the wrap in production. Choose mirrored edges, which reflect the artwork around the sides, or white edges. You do not need to pre-add the wrap to your file.
Compare the canvas edge treatments. The preview is illustrative and does not change your original file.
Resolution guidance
For JPEG and PNG, the configurator calculates effective DPI from the pixel dimensions and selected print size. Aim for 300 DPI where possible. Resolution and proportion warnings are guidance, so review them before continuing.
Preparing a PDF
These steps apply when uploading a PDF through your online account. Prepare the intended page size and embed or outline fonts. Detailed PDF preflight is not available in the configurator, so contact the team if you need help checking the file.
For an integrated workflow, we agree your file preparation and delivery requirements during setup.
Before adding to your order
Wait for the upload to finish. Check the artwork, size, frame finish if applicable and quantity. If an error appears, resolve it or contact the team before continuing.
A final check before you order.
This checklist is for your own review. It does not upload, inspect or alter your file.
